They are seeking a Business Development Representative to engage with powersports dealerships, focusing on increasing application and loan volume through effective communication and relationship-building.

Responsibilities

  • Make multiple outbound calls to powersports dealerships, including cold calling
  • Achieve monthly production, enrollment, and engagement goals
  • Qualify leads from multiple sources including digital campaigns, conferences, dealership referrals, and trade shows
  • Create and maintain a database and/or CRM of current and prospective clients
  • Resolve dealership issues within a timely manner to minimize the impact to the dealership and Octane
  • Ability to seek advice/guidance on complex dealer issues and work to a resolution

Skills

  • Work with the Director of Business Development and teammates to create a daily workflow that will allow for on-time completion of daily/weekly/monthly tasks
  • Energetic, friendly, and goal driven with the ability to handle rejection
  • Understanding of how to prioritize multiple tasks and manage time efficiently
  • Ability to communicate effectively with current and prospective clients through written and verbal communication
  • Familiarity with G-Suite (Gmail, Sheets, Docs, Slides) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
  • High School degree or equivalent
  • 0-2 years of experience with inside sales or a high call volume environment
