[Remote] Licensed Call Center Sales Representative (CA & TX)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Sears is a company focused on home services, and they are seeking a Licensed Call Center Sales Representative for California and Texas. The role involves handling telephone calls from customers, facilitating the purchase of Home Warranty products, and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced sales environment.
Responsibilities
- Must be a Texas or California Resident
- Must have a valid Personal Lines Insurance Producer or General Lines Property and Casualty Producer license for either the state of TX or CA
- Connects with customer via telephone and services the customer's needs to sell Protection Agreements and positions additional services products using a sales presentation that is scripted and follows call strategies
- Applies skills in the area of communication and customer service and manages and resolves customer concerns
- Delivers the sales presentation with passion, commitment, courtesy and professionalism and in conformance to policy and procedure
- Offers the best value for the customer in terms of price, discounts, multiple/additional products and maximum term and stresses
- Features the benefits of the products and uses available resources and skills to overcome objections

- Corrects information on record when appropriate, and properly records agreements, sales processing, and recording
- Maintains a high level of business/product knowledge via onsite and online training

- Complies with and adheres to ethical selling policies and procedures
- Performs other duties as assigned
Skills
- Must be a Texas or California Resident
- Must have a valid Personal Lines Insurance Producer or General Lines Property and Casualty Producer license for either the state of TX or CA
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of related experience
- License/certification in relevant field
- 18 years of age or older
- Ability to apply effective sales and service-related influencing skills based on the call type being handled
- Fundamental understanding of Home Warranty policies
- Exceptional listening, verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills are essential in this role
- Utilization of basic mathematical functions
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows based programs
- A team player that will be able to work closely with Customers, Builders, and Sub-contractors in a fast paced environment
- Previous Home Warranty or Real Estate knowledge and/or experience is critical in this role
