Software Support Technician II | Hybrid/Louisville, KY
OnTrac is a leading provider of same-day and next-day delivery services in the U.S. for e-commerce and product-supply businesses. They are seeking a Software Support Technician II to provide troubleshooting support, create reports, and perform data analyses while collaborating with a software development team.
Responsibilities
- Provide troubleshooting support to internal customers using internally developed applications
- Create and maintain reports in MS SQL Reporting Services
- Perform Ad-Hoc reporting and data analysis
- Create and maintain customer integrations for B2B data exchange
- Establish FTP communications and perform data format validation for new customers
- Minor development of specific data management processes
Skills
- College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science, software engineering or equivalent work experience
- Experience working in integrated development environments, including Microsoft Visual Studio 2010-2015
- Experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server or equivalent DBMS
- Ability to write and troubleshoot Transact SQL queries
- Ability to research and analyze data
- Flexible and adaptable in learning and understanding new technologies
- Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to conduct research into software-related issues and products
- Highly logical, technically proficient with proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Highly self-motivated and directed
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment with a keen attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
