Client Sales & Support Specialist
VetBilling® is on a mission to expand access to veterinary care by providing flexible payment solutions to clinics. The Client Sales & Support Specialist will build relationships with veterinary clinics, support them in implementing payment solutions, and engage in proactive outreach to enhance clinic success.
Responsibilities
- Build strong working relationships with partner clinics to understand their needs and challenges
- Proactively support clinics in increasing payment plan adoption and utilization
- Re-engage VetBilling clinics and address barriers to effective implementation
- Present clinic feedback and insights to internal leadership to help refine offerings
- Conduct outbound calls and email outreach to veterinary clinics following pet owner referrals
- Meet activity and retention KPIs related to clinic engagement
- Use consultative, relationship-based communication to identify opportunities
- Conduct virtual onboarding and training sessions to familiarize clinic staff with VetBilling’s services, ensure fluent platform navigation, and effectively communicate payment options to clients
- Educate staff on VetBilling’s financial impact, platform capabilities, and typical workflows to ensure meaningful, team-wide familiarity
- Support clinic teams in building confidence and fluency around financial conversations, enabling clear, empathetic communication about payment options
- Analyze clinic performance reports to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, operations, and payment support teams
- Participate in weekly internal operations meetings covering product updates, strategy, and events
- Provide phone support to pet owners as needed (payment questions, contract updates, taking payments)
- Represent VetBilling at tradeshows and industry events to build awareness and relationships
Skills
- Proven success in roles involving outbound outreach, cold calling, and KPI-based retention goals
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and active-listening skills
- Comfort leading Zoom-based trainings and presentations
- Ability to analyze reports, draw conclusions, and offer actionable recommendations
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and Zoom
- Prior experience working in a veterinary clinic (clinical, administrative, or management)
- Familiarity with clinic workflows, PMS systems, invoicing, and reconciliation
- Experience in customer success, sales, or marketing within veterinary, B2B, or SaaS environments
- Proficiency with Salesforce Lightning, Slack, VOIP systems
