Job Title: Lead Accountant

Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM CST
Compensation: $2,500 - $3,000 monthly (salary based on assessment)

Job Overview:

We're looking for a Lead Accountant with a solid accounting foundation, leadership experience, and strong communication skills to help us scale operations and support our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, mentoring others, and interfacing directly with clients — especially U.S.-based businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

Review monthly financial and tax documents for accuracy and completeness

Manage and mentor team members, ensuring high-quality output and professional development

Handle complex client communications, responding to inquiries within 24-hour window

Coordinate and support special projects, including audits and process optimization

Work cross-functionally with leadership to align team efforts with broader business goals

Identify and recommend improvements in workflows, systems, or documentation

Execute specialized projects including client audits and advanced tax implication research

Develop and implement process improvements to enhance team efficiency

Collaborate with leadership to support strategic business objectives

Qualifications:

Required:

3–5 years of experience in accounting and project management

Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail

Previous team leadership or supervisory experience

Excellent written and verbal communication skills (especially with U.S.-based clients)

Proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, formulas, reporting, etc.)

Preferred:

Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (Shopify is a plus)

Exposure to project management or workflow tools

Knowledge of sales tax software (e.g., Avalara)

CPA certification or progress toward one
