The role involves overseeing operational aspects of the program, including staff development, program development, and serving as a liaison for grants and budgets.

Responsibilities

  • Recruits, trains and supervises staff, delegating assignments, supervisory duties and addressing areas of concern, developing areas of improvement, and providing constructive feedback
  • Develops education component of program by ensuring appropriate planning, implementation and evaluation of training, recruitment, curriculum development, outreach, workshops, material development and special projects
  • Coordinates recruitment, training, monitoring, guidance and evaluation
  • Oversees grant-related issues including budget, reporting of statistics, and meeting with funders
  • Oversees administrative duties including employee schedules, employee timesheets, ordering of materials, distribution of check requests, and tracking expenditures
  • Establishes and maintains linkages with community agencies as applicable

Skills

  • Bachelors Degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may substitute for the degree when the experiences are closely related to the duties of the job
  • 1-2 years administrative experience preferred
